About Hotelskind
A small social casino with a single, carefully kept table.
Where the idea came from
Most of us know someone who travels with a deck of cards tucked in a side pocket. It comes out on long train rides, in waiting rooms and at kitchen tables far from home, and the game it most often turns into is blackjack: quick to learn, easy to share, and just tense enough to be fun. Hotelskind grew out of that habit. We wanted to put that pocket deck online without dressing it up as anything more than it is.
The look came from the same place. Instead of chrome and flashing lights, we reached for the things a seasoned traveller keeps: a tan leather case gone soft at the edges, green lining, brass rivets at the corners and a paper tag swinging from the handle. It felt right for a game you settle into rather than one that shouts at you.
What we actually make
Hotelskind is a free-to-play social casino with exactly one game, The Stowaway Hand. It is a real blackjack table: a proper 52-card deck, a dealer who follows one written rule, and a coin balance that goes up and down with each result. There is no second machine waiting behind it, and there are no plans to fill the site with dozens of titles. One table, done honestly, is the whole product.
The coins you play with are virtual. They are given away freely, reset when you reload the page, and cannot be bought, sold, redeemed or turned into prizes. We do not take deposits and we do not pay out. It is social gaming only, played for entertainment.
How we like to work
We write our rules down where you can read them before your first hand, and we keep them the same for everyone. We ask that players be 18 or older. We keep the site free of pressure tactics: no countdown offers, no bonus pop-ups, no reminders nudging you back. When you close the tab, the table simply waits.
We are also careful about what the name does and does not mean. Hotelskind borrows the warmth of travel and good hospitality, but it is not a hotel, a travel agent or a booking service, and it is not connected with any hotel brand.
Getting in touch
If something about the table looks wrong, if a rule reads unclearly, or if you just want to tell us about your best run, we would be glad to hear it. The Support page has answers to common questions and our contact address.
