Old steamer trunks were built to carry the few things a traveller could not do without. We took the same approach to a social casino: rather than a corridor of machines, one table made with care, with its rules written out plainly and its maths kept honest.

A note on the name
Hotelskind is not a place to book a room
The name nods to the long road and the kindness of a good place to stop, but you will find no rooms, rates or reservations here. What we borrowed from travel is a feeling: worn leather, a brass clasp that clicks just so, and the small ritual of opening a case you have packed yourself.
